Choose the right solar system
Bill reduction, backup during outages and commercial daytime demand lead to different designs. We compare them before recommending equipment.
Best suited to homes with usable daytime roof area and a goal of reducing grid purchases.
Standard on-grid solar stops during a grid outage for safety.
Understand on-grid solarSolar generation plus a battery selected around the lights, fans, Wi-Fi or other loads you want to keep running.
Backup duration depends on battery capacity and the loads connected.
Explore hybrid solarDesigned around daytime operational demand for shops, offices, institutions and larger facilities.
Project economics depend on load profile, roof access and connection details.
Plan a commercial system| System | Primary goal | Battery | During grid outage |
|---|---|---|---|
| On-grid | Reduce grid electricity use | No | Stops for safety |
| Hybrid | Savings plus selected backup | Yes | Selected loads can continue |
| Commercial | Offset daytime operational demand | Project-dependent | Depends on system design |
Real Solwiz projects
A selection of residential rooftop and hybrid installations, with the system capacity and location shown for each project.

Residential rooftop
A compact rooftop array arranged on raised steel mounting above the existing roof.

Residential rooftop
A larger multi-row rooftop array with access retained around the installation.

Hybrid solar
A Deye hybrid inverter and battery installation with labelled protection equipment.
Start with your electricity bill. The result is indicative and will be checked during a site survey.
Choose the period printed on the bill. Savings exclude fixed charges and are capped at 90% of the normalized monthly bill.
What happens after you enquire
We begin with the billing period, electricity use, roof type, shade and the loads you may want backed up.
A site visit checks usable area, mounting, cable route, protection, inverter position and meter details.
You receive a written proposal with system size, included work, assumptions and the relevant approval path.
The team installs and tests the system, explains operation and remains available for service and warranty coordination.
Residential subsidy
Under current PM Surya Ghar guidance, eligible residential consumers may receive ₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW and ₹18,000 for the next 1 kW, capped at ₹78,000. Eligibility, compliant equipment, inspection and release remain subject to current scheme and DISCOM rules.
Financing
We can help organize the documents needed to discuss solar finance. Approval, interest rate, fees, security requirements and tenure are decided by the lender, not Solwiz Energy.
Service coverage
Our teams support projects across Kerala, with frequent residential and commercial work across Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and the wider Malabar region.
Useful questions
On-grid solar is primarily designed to reduce electricity purchased from the grid and normally shuts down during an outage for safety. Hybrid solar adds battery storage so selected loads can continue, subject to the battery and system design.
A site survey checks usable area, shade, roof condition, mounting options, cable route, inverter location and meter details. Electricity use is reviewed alongside the roof so the system is not sized from area alone.
The written scope should identify system capacity, proposed equipment, mounting and electrical protection, included approvals and services, assumptions, exclusions, price and applicable warranty information.
The central subsidy is for eligible residential consumers and depends on current scheme, portal, equipment, installation, inspection and DISCOM requirements. Commercial systems are not presented as eligible for the residential subsidy.
Customers can contact the support team for generation concerns, inverter alerts, cleaning guidance, maintenance questions and warranty coordination. The service path depends on the system and issue reported.

We will review the information and explain the next useful step. A final proposal follows a site-specific assessment.
